Heather Taggard has been a photographer for over 25 years and has a degree in photojournalism from the University of Alaska Fairbanks. (Proud Nanook).
Pixelaska was born to better serve individuals, families, artists and entrepreneurs in their legacy for home and commercial portraiture. We offer dramatic stylized or classically bold individual studio portraits, or on location environmental imagery. Our work is designed to stop people in their tracks, and to tell the story of artists, individuals, or groups, with attention to detail and sophistication. We aim to tell a story with single frames. We can convey an illustration in order to pack as much or as little visual information in a portrait, to sell or gift a viewer with the emotion and meaning you wish to convey.
We prefer a light touch in our digital editing. But we will allow for as much or as little digital editing as you prefer. All images are optimized for color, contrast and sharpness with minor blemish retouching and more. Everyone’s preference is taken into consideration, with Heather offering plenty of personal examples of how much or little editing should take place.
For more about our creative media projects we also do business at 49 Designs, an Alaska Web Design & Video Production Agency.
